Key Programs & Deliverables
This year, the Powering Women initiative significantly expanded its reach and impact. In 2025, we delivered:
- Career readiness workshops covering resume building, career transitioning, and financial independence skills.
- Podcasts amplifying female advocacy in the resource sector, giving voice to women leading change.
- A travelling book club that connected participants across regions through shared learning and conversation.
- Specialised first aid training, including modules on recognising and responding to domestic violence in workplace settings.
- Holistic mentoring and networking programs supporting women across digital, physical, and spiritual wellness pillars.
Milestones & Recognition
In 2025 Sandon WA Inc was officially a Semi-Finalist in the Insurance Commission of Western Australia Regional Safety Award, as part of the 2025 7NEWS WA Community Achievement Awards.
This recognition celebrates the work we do in safety, training, and empowering communities across regional WA. We are incredibly proud of our team and supporters for helping us reach this milestone.
