We undertook the removal and remediation of redundant foundations and services for a Pilbara Mine Client. The scope included:
Demolition and disposal of concrete footings, piles, walkways, ramps, and slabs across multiple pods.
Removal of pedestal pilings, BBQ areas, redundant services, power cabling, and wastewater/sewer connections.
Safe isolation and tagging of live services to protect active laundries and accommodation facilities.
Rehabilitation earthworks to reshape and stabilise the site into natural, free-draining landforms.
Key challenges included maintaining safe access and minimal disruption to residents during construction, managing active utilities, and complying with strict health, safety, and environmental controls.
The outcome was a fully remediated site, with waste safely disposed of at the local quarry and the area prepared for future redevelopment in line with environmental and operational standards.
