Bulk Metro Transport Job

Project Detail

Consolidated Group of companies delivered high-volume bulk haulage services as part of a major metropolitan transport infrastructure upgrade, supporting critical earthworks and embankment construction. The project involved the movement of approximately 900,000 tonnes of material within a compressed six-month delivery window, requiring continuous day and night shift operations to meet program milestones ahead of seasonal constraints.

At peak delivery, the operation deployed a fleet of approximately 35 trucks on day shift and 25 trucks on night shift. Advanced route optimisation strategies were implemented to maximise efficiency while minimising disruption across busy Perth road networks. All haulage units were fitted with IVMS technology, transmitting real-time data to the CloudRent platform, enabling proactive safety monitoring, fatigue management, and compliance oversight to protect both drivers and the public.

Operating within an active urban environment, the project required coordinated traffic management and strict adherence to safety protocols at multiple road crossings and haulage access points. Noise, vibration, and community impact considerations were actively managed through controlled work practices and scheduling of compaction activities within standard construction hours.

In parallel with delivery, Jakarli supported Indigenous workforce development through a structured training and upskilling program aligned to the project. Participants were engaged across various stages of the transport pathway, from entry-level exposure through to licensed heavy vehicle operation, supported by mentoring and on-the-job experience. This initiative contributed to building long-term capability, creating job-ready candidates for both metropolitan and regional civil and mining operations.

The project demonstrates our ability to deliver complex, high-volume logistics solutions in constrained urban environments while maintaining a strong focus on safety, technology integration, and workforce development.
