In 2026, Sandon WA Inc. took its programs out of the office and into car parks, school halls, community spaces and Pilbara worksites.
We taught women how to change a tyre and reverse a trailer. We brought occupational therapists into schools to help families of neurodivergent children navigate road safety. We connected local people with accredited training and employment pathways. We backed women in business, worked alongside Aboriginal organisations and industry, and continued building programs around needs identified by the communities themselves.
Our approach is simple: listen first, build practical programs, bring the right organisations together and make participation accessible.

Practical vehicle skills. More confidence. Safer drivers. Focused on Wheels is a free, hands-on vehicle skills and road safety program designed to give participants practical skills they can use long after the workshop is over.

Every Brain Belongs The Neurodiverse Road Safety Program
Road safety isn’t only about speed limits, seatbelts and road rules. For families raising neurodivergent children, simply getting into the car, travelling safely or completing the school run can involve sensory overload, distraction, emotional regulation, transitions and behaviours that create very real road safety challenges. Every Brain Belongs was created to start a conversation that is often missing from traditional road safety education.
Funded through the Road Safety Commission’s Community Initiatives Grants Program, Sandon WA Inc. is delivering five free community workshops across metropolitan Perth and the Pilbara for parents and carers of neurodivergent children. The specialist sessions are delivered by Kidz-Ability Occupational Therapy and Fun With Motion, bringing practical occupational therapy knowledge directly to families.

Every workshop is completely free for families, with parents and carers registering through their participating school. By taking the program directly into schools, we are removing another barrier for families who already have enough appointments and commitments to manage.
Supporting women has remained an important part of Sandon WA Inc.’s work. That means creating our own programs, but it also means backing other community organisations doing good work. In September 2026, Sandon WA Inc. supported Secret Women’s Collab’s Boldly in Business Conference in Kwinana, donating prizes to support a profit-neutral event designed to make practical business education more accessible to local women.
